Comm'Unity Purim Project 2021!

Purim is around the corner and as is customary we share this joy by sending food baskets to our friends and family.

At Center for Jewish Life, we have made this mitzvah easier for you by taking care of arranging a beautiful creation to be sent on your behalf, as well as organizing its’ delivery. A beautiful basket will be sent to your friends; all you have to do is decide who you want to send it to.

We have decided to launch the Purim Project this year as the pandemic unfortunately continues. This project will bring a sense of friendship, connection, community and goodwill, and will be so much more meaningful during this time. Giving us each an opportunity to send a "virtual hug" to each other.

Your participation is sure to bring cheer to your friends and neighbors throughout the community in the form of a beautifully packaged Purim Gift Basket! The proceeds from this project will go towards Hebrew School, and all programs at CJL.

Ironically, our last public in-person indoor event was our annual Purim Party last year. Unfortunately, many parts of Purim will be celebrated very differently this year. This project can be even bigger, better, and more impactful. The more of us that participate, the wider the community hug will be!

Please join your commUnity for this unbelievable double Mitzvah; Tzedaka - Charity, supporting youth education, and Mishloach Manot, food gifts to your friends on Purim day!

You will receive an email with your very own personal Username and passcode. You can then follow the steps to choose members/and or groups to send gift baskets on Purim. If you have not received an email, and wish too, please email [email protected] or call 347-623-9356.
