The Torah Studies program takes a topic or idea in Jewish thought to explore, tease out, and bring into play with our own lives. Each one is built around texts that are learned together, discussed together, and applied to each individual’s unique lives. Below is an outline of 2023’s upcoming sessions.
Children’s Program
Every Shabbat morning at 10:00am
Outdoors when weather permitted, and in Kita Gimmel’s Hebrew School classroom during the rest of the year. Children will join together for lively, songful T’fillah, and the weekly Parsha story, followed by snacks and games. At 11:00am the children will join the services for the Torah reading portion and will have the opportunity to engage in a word/letter game while following along inside. Finally, at the end of services (12:00pm) the children will have the opportunity to lead the congregation with the Ein Kelokeinu and Aleinu prayers.
